PPPC Product Awards

This award season will include submissions from January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2020

 

PPPC is excited to utilize the new online entry process for the 40th Annual Product Awards! We are confident that the new platform will encourage an increase in entries from companies of all sizes and areas of expertise.

The entry process will now be done entirely online. Most categories DO NOT require products to be physically mailed in – judging will now be complete online by reviewing photos and entries through the platform.

Please note: If submitting multiple entries, you can submit payment for all entries together once the final entry has been submitted. You may also submit separate payments for each entry if you wish.

CATEGORIES

Distributor

D.1 INTERNAL FOR A CLIENT
For a client; used by their organization internally, targeting their employees or members.

D.2 PROFESSIONAL DEALER
For a client; targeting his/her consumer dealers (independent distributors, wholesalers, retailers, prescribing physicians, or other commercial trade and professional middlemen who sell or distribute products to the general public).

D.3 PROFESSIONAL CONSUMER
For a client; used to promote his or her products or services directly to the consumer.

D.4 MULTIPLE AUDIENCES
For a client; targeting more than one audience at different levels, such as dealers and consumers.

D.5 NOT FOR PROFIT
For a not-for-profit client (including but not limited to no-profit organizations). Includes public service or political organizations, as well as fund-raising appeals directed to the general public, donors, volunteers and voters.

D.6 PREMIUMS AND INCENTIVES/CONTESTS
For a client; designed to stimulate action on the part of the award recipient, such as sales incentives or employee contests.

D.7 DISTRIBUTOR SELF-PROMOTION
For your own external use; to promote your company, products and services to your clients, existing and potential.

D.8 CATALOGUE PROGRAMME
For a client; includes a printed or on-line promotional products catalogue. Judged on overall programme concept and success, not on catalogue presentation, layout or content. A few samples of the promotional products featured in the catalogue must accompany your entry.

D.9 BUSINESS TO BUSINESS (B2B)
For a client; designed to promote his/her products or services in soliciting additional clients, to generate sales leads, to promote client loyalty, to induce response and/or trial or to encourage attendance at trade shows, open houses, anniversaries, etc.

DS.1 BEST IN GREEN
A product or program you have created for you or your client to address environmental concerns. For example, using recycled or eco-friendly products and materials.

DS.2 BEST EMBROIDERY
An embroidered promotional product developed for a client. You must submit a hard copy of the artwork along with your mailed submission.

DS.3 SERVICE AND RECOGNITION
For member distributor, supplier or a client; promoting internal recognition of employee loyalty or achievement, or to recognize visiting dignitaries or to encourage increased productivity.

Supplier

S.1 SUPPLIER AND/OR MULTI-LINE AGENCY SELF-PROMOTION
A product or programme to promote YOUR company, products and services to your clients, existing or potential.

S.2 MOST CREATIVE NEW PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT
A new product FOR A CLIENT that is exceptionally creative and/or original. This product must have been in your current catalogue year.

S.3 MOST BENEFICIAL SALES AND MARKETING AID
Materials or services you developed for distributors to assist them in better marketing YOUR product(s) to their clients. Your entry may include multiple items; however, it will still constitute one entry. With the exclusion of catalogues, include examples such as case histories, sales idea bulletins, net price sheets, sales training aids, structured sample programmes, etc.

BEST IMPRINT/DECORATION CATEGORIES
An imprinted and/or decorated promotional product developed for a client. Maximum two entries per category for the same product (must represent two separate clients).

S.6 BEST IMPRINT – DIGITAL (Flat and non-flat surface and textile)

S.7 ALTERNATIVE DECORATING PROCESS/ SPECIAL EFFECTS OR MULTI-MEDIA DECORATION
This category is specifically related to the combination of traditional methods that create a new, dimensional look in one design. Ex: foil stamping, embossing and debossing, pad printing, weaving, flexography, letterpress, holograms, etc. The process must be specified in the submission process.

DS.1 BEST IN GREEN
A product or program you have created for you or your client to address environmental concerns. For example, using recycled or eco-friendly products and materials.

DS.2 BEST EMBROIDERY
