Professionals Awards
The awards for Distributor of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Supplier Customer Service Representative of the Year, Supplier Sales Representative of the Year, Multi-Line Agency of the Year, Best Website and Best Catalogue are voted upon by members of the PPPC. Every year all PPPC member individuals are sent an electronic ballot through an outside firm. Supplier members are instructed to vote for Distributors in the Distributor categories, and Distributor members are instructed to vote for Suppliers in the Supplier categories.
Distributor Vote in the Following Categories
Finalists who receive the most votes in these categories are presented with the PPPC Award trophies:
1. Supplier of the Year
A PPPC Supplier company that meets the following criteria: Excellent customer service, product quality, imprint quality, catalogue quality, creative response, willingness to help (flexibility), delivery time, and pro-active sales and service.
NEW THIS YEAR: PPPC Supplier companies are being separated into small, medium and large sizes for the first time this year! Based on responses from their teams, suppliers were categorized as small (revenue of up to 5 million), medium (5-12 million) and large (12 million and up).
2. Supplier Customer Service Representative of the Year
A PPPC Supplier individual that embodies the following characteristics: Caring attitude, quick response time, willingness to help (flexibility) and pro-active service.
3. Supplier Sales Representative of the Year
A PPPC Supplier individual that embodies the following characteristics: Willingness to educate and motivate, creative problem-solving, product knowledge, marketing assistance, presentation quality, and response time.
4. MULTI-LINE AGENCY OF THE YEAR
A PPPC Multi-Line agency that meets the following criteria: Willingness to educate and motivate, creative problem-solving, product knowledge, marketing assistance, presentation quality, and response time.
NEW THIS YEAR: PPPC Multi-Line Agencies are being separated into East, Central and West zones for the first time this year!
Suppliers Vote in the Following Categories
1. Distributor of the Year:
There are nine (9) Distributor of the Year awards distributed to deserving members each year. Divided by region (West, Central & East) and size (Small, Medium & Large enterprise), the Distributor of the Year recipients are voted upon based on the following criteria:
- Professionalism
- Creativity
- Pro-active selling
- Loyalty
- Effective business management
- Purchase order clarity
- Willingness to work with Suppliers
The Distributor companies that receive the highest number of votes in each region are awarded a PPPC Distributor of the Year Award.
2. National Distributor of the Year:
In addition to the Distributor of the Year category, Suppliers can vote for the PPPC National Distributor of the Year. The National Distributor of the year embodies all of the same qualities as above, however, they have a larger, national presence in the industry. This coveted award is sought after by many PPPC Distributor members!
