Highlights from the June 4, 2026 PPPC BC Chapter Golf Tournament

On June 4th, 2026, the PPPC Vancouver Chapter hosted a social golf tournament at the beautiful Country Meadows Golf Course in Richmond, BC. With an enthusiastic group of golfers and volunteers, we headed off to the tee. Old friends and new were gathered to celebrate the energy of our community.

We ended our evening with prize presentations to our on course winners. All in all, the day was filled with laughter, energy, and joy.

During the dinner reception, Ocean Wise representative Alex Izard, gave a presentation on their mission to build communities that take meaningful action to protect and restore our ocean. Which led up to the next event held on June 12, 2026, with the PPPC BC Chapter and PPPC Sustainability Committee in partnership with Ocean Wise for a Shoreline Clean Up at Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park, Burnaby, BC .

Thanks to Kanata Blanket for sponsoring the event’s golf towels, BC board member Eleanor Davidson for baking some delicious shortbread cookies, PPPC for sending us some nice golf balls, and Rampion for their draw prize.  We can’t wait to cross path again at our next event!
