Awards Season 2024 is NOW CLOSED

Since 1979 PPPC has sought to recognize the best of the best in promotional products and promotions, with our annual Product Awards competition.

The PPPC Product Awards were created to recognize our members, for their creative and effective use of promotional products in marketing promotions and their different decorating techniques. Since its inauguration, thousands of trophies have been awarded to hundreds of deserving members that have participated in the annual competition.

With 7 Distributor and 7 Supplier & Multi-Line Categories this year, there will be many different categories to choose from. These new categories were developed by the newly formed PPPC Awards Task Force to ensure the product award categories offered you an innovative and fresh new selection of awards to vie for. Winning a PPPC Product Award sets you and your work apart from others. It’s also a great way to promote your brand to other industry professionals and an excellent marketing tool to use with your clients.

The entry process will now be done entirely online. Most categories DO NOT require products to be physically mailed in – judging will now be complete online by reviewing photos and entries through the platform.

Propping: Product only, No propping

Distributor

$50 PER ENTRY

Please note: If submitting multiple entries, you can submit payment for all entries together once the final entry has been submitted. You may also submit separate payments for each entry if you wish.


The PPPC Awards have 7 Distributor and 7 Supplier & Multi-Line Product Award Categories.

This year, the scoring system has been updated as follows:


Distributor Categories 2024

D.1 Business-to-Business (B2B) – A promotional product or products designed for companies or salespeople who sell products and services directly to other businesses or B2Bcustomers.

D.2 Business-to-Consumer (B2C) – A promotional product or products designed for companies whose products and services are sold directly to the consumer.

D.3 Cause or Charity Marketing Campaign – a campaign that excels in marketing a specific product or service while making a positive impact on a specific social cause.  The cause/charity component must be central to the campaign idea and execution.

D.4 Distributor Self-Promotion – a superior marketing campaign(s) and promotional products designed to promote the distributors brand and promote sales of the entrant themselves.

D.5 Digital/Social Marketing Campaign – a campaign that makes the most effective and/or innovative use of digital marketing activation elements as the primary communication channel (ie. web development, SEO, mobile, email, online promotion, online advertising, etc.) to bring a campaign to market and meet program objectives. Entries can include B2C or B2B campaigns and will be judged on a combination of innovation, integration and results depending on overall program objectives.

D.6 Sustainable/Eco-Friendly Canadian-only Initiative – focused on marketing campaigns and initiatives that incorporate sustainable or environmentally conscious products. This category aims to highlight initiatives and products that reinforce environmental messages or demonstrate improved environmental awareness or measures of waste reduction.

D.7 Made in Canada – Highlighting the best marketing campaign or initiative that incorporates locally made promotional products or garments to promote an increase in the client’s sales. Required to provide appropriate country of origin documents to ascertain that your entry is Canadian made. Additional documentation may be requested.


Supplier & Multi-Line Categories 2024

S.1 Supplier and/or Multi-Line Agency Self-Promotion – A product or programme to promote the company, products, and services to your clients, existing or potential.

S.2 Most Creative New Promotional Product – A new product that is exceptionally creative and/or original. This product must have been in your current year and can be (but not limited to) best kit, catalogue (virtual/print), etc.

S.3 Most Beneficial Sales & Marketing Aid – Materials or services you developed for distributors to assist them in better marketing YOUR product(s) to their clients. Your entry may include multiple items; however, it will still constitute one entry. With the exclusion of catalogues, include examples such as case histories, sales idea bulletins, net price sheets, sales training aids, structured sample programmes, etc.

S.4 Special Effects or Multi-Media Decoration – This category is specifically related to the combination of traditional and non-traditional methods that create a new, dimensional look in one design. Ex: foil stamping, embossing, and debossing, pad printing, weaving, flexography, letterpress, holograms, etc. The process must be specified in the submission process.

S.5  Sustainable/Eco-Friendly Canadian-only Initiative – focused on marketing campaigns and initiatives that incorporate sustainable or environmentally conscious products. This category aims to highlight initiatives and products that reinforce environmental messages or demonstrate improved environmental awareness or measures of waste reduction.

S.6 Digital / Social Media Marketing Campaign – a campaign that utilizes social media to capture the essence of the campaign and elevate it.

S.7 Made in Canada – Highlighting the best marketing campaign or initiative that incorporates locally made promotional products or garments to promote an increase in the client’s sales.   Required to provide appropriate country of origin documents to ascertain that your entry is Canadian made.  Additional documentation may be requested.
