About Drew S. Holmgreen
As the President and CEO of Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), Drew Holmgreen leverages 25 years of strategic leadership in association management and marketing and brand development to reinforce the industry’s message that “promotional products work.”
A proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Advertising, Drew built his career in the agency world, working with global powerhouse McCann-Erickson and top creative firms like Proof Advertising, TM Advertising, and Belmont Icehouse. His expertise in brand strategy and marketing spans some of the world’s most recognizable names, including 7-Eleven, Bell Helicopter, Mattress Firm, Texas A&M University, and Texas Tourism. Before joining PPAI, Drew spent seven years at Meeting Professionals International (MPI), where he rose to Chief Experience Officer, driving impactful initiatives that elevated MPI’s global presence and revolutionized the member experience.
His career work has earned global awards across every medium—broadcast, print, digital, and experiential. Married for 20 years to a gorgeous UT alum, Drew has a son named George, dog named Charlie Biscuits, and cat named Max Powercat. When not trying the latest craft beer, you’ll find him on the nearest trail; running or hiking, oftentimes with those mentioned previously (except Max Powercat).
